So with all the major rich and famous such as Simon Cowell, Lord Sugar and the King of
Saudi Arabia but to name a few owning major properties in Marbella the obvious
question is what is the attraction and why do they still continue to want to
own property and live here in Marbella?
First o fall the location of Marbella is one of the best of the world. Situated some 60
kilometers west of Malaga on the Mediterranean Sea in Andalucia Southern Spain it's
ideally situated from any European capital and a maximum of 3 hours flying time
from most European major cities.
Secondly it's the major international capital for trendsetters and partygoers with some of the best known and exclusive clubs
and restaurants in Europe and where the rich and famous can go without too much
fuss and bother. Also Marbella is known for some of the best beach bars and
restaurants in the world today.
Thirdly is the climate and the special Micro climate due to La Concha Mountain which makes
it four degrees cooler in the summer and four degrees warmer in the winter from
other similar coastlines of Spain thus making Marbella ideal for all year round
living.
The list is endless but finally is the superb Marbella property either being frontline
beach villas or penthouses or the Castle style mansion in places such as La
Zagaleta and El Madronal and not to forget the Marbella Golden Mile itself .
So how much does this type of property in Marbella actually cost. Well you can buy a very
nice upmarket apartment from as little as 500,000 Euros right up to 100 Million
Euro mansion the choice is completely yours.
Interestinglymost property sales I have seen in 2011 have been between 500,000 and 2.5
Million Euros showing that Marbella is still a major attraction for property
buyers throughout the world. Just to show that sales are happening at the high
end of the Marbella property market I had a client over in February with a two million Euro budget and 5 of the
properties he had picked to view had actually sold before he arrived which just
shows that the luxury property market is still attracting property buyers.
In conclusion Marbella property is and will continue to have a strong pull for the
rich and famous and those aspiring to be rich and famous and as we come out of
recession I expect Marbella to have a big as pull as ever.
