The virtual trade show is considered as the most effective interactive sales tool for any business all over today. Unlike traditional shows, the virtual trade shows also provide the exhibitor a best advertising tool both the exhibitors can interact with their prospective customers’ all throughout 24-hours a day, 7-days a week or up to even an entire year. These kinds of trade shows offer various other additional benefits to the exhibitor as well as the visitors. They eliminate several logistic hassles of travelling and provide accommodation set-ups. There is less time spent away from the office resulting in better productivity.

Virtual expo platforms are day by day gaining immense popularity as they have shown a firm growth over few recent years and they also appear to be gaining momentum. Education and promotion for the virtual trade shows will defiantly create familiarity attracting more users. However the research shows on this particular issue shows that the virtual tradeshows tend to attract more attendees than various other traditional shows. The basic solid reason for the traditional shows gaining higher attendance is of the minimalism for sign up along with elimination of logistic issues as well.

But in real terms the trade shows as well as expos are rapidly moving to transform themselves to virtualization formats in order to attract more number of attendees and counter shrinking company budgets. Now-a-days companies have really started using the tradeshows business as their part of promotional marketing, but according to the current economic conditions they have ended up with tightened budgets. But the tradeshow industry has really made the companies understood that they have become more and more economical in their marketing spending. Hence it is clear enough that proposing virtual shows or various exhibitions always offer a company an effective marketing tool that too without any hassle of logistics and at a considerable lesser cost than any other traditional platforms.

Establishing a virtual trade show booth is much easier as they don’t need extensive technical knowledge. Virtual platforms are considerably a predesigned concept and the exhibitor just has to complete the 'automated' registration process. Science and technology is also playing its own role as it allows people to easily attend various virtual shows from the comfort of their own office via a web browser, this way they can also improve their productivity which ultimately eliminate downtime for travelling. However the virtual trade shows works are very much alike to the traditional alternatives. Just like the 'real-world' shows, the virtual shows offers various different speaker presentations, lounge areas, exhibit halls, and more which nay also last a few hours or span several days.

The virtual trade shows have always a better tracking mechanism than that of real-world events in order to collecting attendee data. This is also helpful providing better follow up leads whereas many virtual shows track the amount of time visitors spend at a booth. Others even guarantee each exhibitor will receive a certain amount of leads. The main purpose of tracking is to collect information so the exhibitor can refine their marketing approaches. Virtual expos last longer than the physical counterpart shows.
