Ceiling painting is an important and hard task for any of the painters and for us also. Generally, we emphasize on wall painting but years after years, we just forget about ceiling painting. It reduces the durability of the earlier used paint as well as harmful for your home. Lists of materials are provided here that a painter need to do this type of job. The materials are stepladder, bucket, half inch nap roller cover, roller extension pole, drop cloth, paint screen, 9-inch roller frame, 3-inch nylon or polyester brush, plastic sheeting, primer and ceiling paint. Here are the steps by steps task for ceiling painting works. Prepare the room. Move the entire furniture in the middle place of the room. Leave enough space between large things of a room and the wall for accommodating a stepladder. Place minor pieces in a number of groups parting walkways between them. It will help for easier touch to the ceiling at the time of painting. Cover the full furniture sets and other things such as television; computer etc. with plastic, especially 2ml sized plastic works the finest. Place old drop cloth on the room floor around the furniture. Mark prime any brown water stains through a stain killing primer. These primers are usually available at hardware store or painter’s shop. Set up and paint. When everything is prepared and wrapped properly as well as mark primed then you can take preparation to paint. First, pour the paint of ceiling into the bucket. Do not pour full amount of paint in the bucket. Leave nearly a quarter of paint in another bucket that will be required for any of next task of painting in any part of the room. Brush almost three to four inch line around the ceiling edges. This task is a precaution that will help to avoid any inappropriate painting on the ceiling. It should not also forget to brush paint around the light fixture. All set and roll. Sling the paint screen on the inside edge of the bucket. Install the cover of the roller on the frame. Attach the frame of the roller to an extension pole. Load that roller by smearing it into the bucket of pain and eliminate any surplus paint with a few knock on the paint screen. Roll out now a pattern that should be look like a big W. Roll on the ceiling beginning the roller in a corner and around twenty inch from the wall. Fill and rollout another W- looked pattern subsequently to the one, which you have just finished and faintly overlap the earlier painted section.
