Jewelry has been used by nearly every culture in the world for both decorative and spiritual reasons. While silver necklaces and necklaces made from other materials are among the simplest and most common types of jewelry observed in human society, rings and bracelets are also worn regularly by both men and women. The oldest silver bracelets have been found in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs and their priests. These bracelets have been dated to five-thousand years before Christ. In the modern era, bracelets are worn by people who suffer from chronic health problems, military and hospital personnel for the purposes of identification. This is a relatively new development in the history of both necklaces and bracelets. The derivation of the word “bracelet” comes from the Greek word “brachile”, which means “of the arm”. Based on this definition, it is no small wonder that those types of jewelry, which are worn around the wrist or around the upper arm are referred to as “bracelets” or “braces”. Silver bracelets can be simple bands worn around the wrist or arm, but these types of jewelry can be intricately and meticulously manufactured to incorporate rope-like or woven patterns on the jewelry. This makes them very similar to silver necklaces as well, which can also exhibit the same woven were knotted patterns in their chains. While ancient people wore bracelets necklaces and rings demonstrate their status or political power to onlookers, while also benefiting from spiritual powers associated with the necklaces, modern people have worn these types of jewelry decorative and identification purposes. However, bracelets can be classified into several different groups based on the materials used to create them. For example, silver bracelets are referred to as bangles, because these types of bracelets are created using precious metals. However, bracelets have been made from chain-links, beads, fabric, and even bones. One of the most popular bracelets and necklaces, which has remained popular among women particularly since ancient times is the charm bracelet. In modern times, the specific types of jewelry are usually silver necklaces or silver bracelets, which hold several personally meaningful charms and trinkets, which are thought to bring the wearer luck. In conclusion, modern people are still influenced by ancient traditions, particularly where jewelry is concerned. The bracelets have been warned for spiritual and decorative reasons since the pharaohs ruled Egypt. The bracelets and necklaces can be classified into smaller groups of jewelry based on the materials used to construct them. These materials can include bone, fabric, beads, and precious metals. Bracelets and necklaces are also common methods used in the modern era to alert military and medical personnel of the wearer's identity and any chronic health problems such as epilepsy and allergies.
