Knowing that current affairs hold such significance in our lives, we still ignore them. We often live in the myth that "I am safe" and “I am taking necessary precautions". All we need to do is look around. We would realize that nobody is safe in this unpredictable world. With natural disasters striking at any hour of the day, and crimes taking place in broad light, we can never be sure of our safety. In such a scenario, we are not safe, but living in sa state of denial which can be very harmful for us. If not the current affairs of the world, one should at least keep a record of the current affairs or India. Take a newspaper of 2011 and you would find at least 5-10 important news articles which can broaden your perception by at least 0.5% and help you learn something good. However, it all depends on your will to gain more information and take an initiative. Another, entertaining method to gain current affair knowledge is through solving quizzes. In today’s' times, we have access to so much information. It is a digital world where you have a treasure box of information in the internet, newspapers, radio, news channels etc. You are given an insight into the public life of not only India but the entire world. For example, every incident or event that took place in 2011 is recorded and is easily accessible to the general public. Also, due to the growing influence of the media and its strong approach to subjects, the current affairs are presented to us in the most entertaining way possible. The public of India is given the agency to take part in various protest and movements, and stand for their own rights. However, it is a shame that many of us do not make full use of the rights provided to us. We only react to things, if they occur to us and other times one does not care. The curiosity to know more would instill in you the craving to gain knowledge on the current affair information and would update you and make you aware. If you think you have a good knowledge of the current affairs, it’s time to re-think and check yourself. Quizzes can help you test yourself and work on your weaknesses. Thus, there is a great demand for a strong inclination towards the current affairs of India especially for the youth; as they are the ones who would become the future brilliant minds of India and contribute greatly to the prosperity of the country.
