Additionally, unlike some types of wood, teak is not damaged by contact with water, which is good news as it is hard to avoid water within a bathroom! With so many appealing qualities, it’s no real wonder that teak is the number one choice for wooden bathroom cabinets. Teak is a little more expensive than other varieties of wood, but for an investment that will last you well into the future, there is no better. For a new bathroom and the materials used within it there should be considerations made for the durability, cost and of course the look of the amterials used. Teak wood ticks all of the boxes.
