Year of the Dragon is the most recent edition of the Angry Birds Seasons game by Rovio. In this game the latest Chinese calendarYear is feted (this year is the year of the dragon in the Chinese calendar). This is the 2nd version of Angry Birds Seasons reflecting Asian peoples, subsequent to Moon Festival. Angry Birds Seasons Year of the Dragon has 15 boards. Each board is decked out with Far east signs and representations to highlight the Chinese Year of the Dragon. Unlike previous versions that star the Mighty Eagle and a Sardine can, Angry Birds Seasons Year of the Dragon includes the mighty dragon and a Red Koi as a reflection of Asian heritage. For the 3rd time an orange bird appears in Angry Birds Seasons, and there are two Golden Eggs in the Year of the Dragon episode. The golden eggs can be unlocked by getting all three stars in all fifteen boards.It is also the first episode where Gold Blocks appear. Gold blocks are somewhat hard to destroy and can be destroyed by all but the blue bird and red bird. The Dragon in Year of the Dragon gives a new set of functionalitychallenge in this Angry Birds game. The dragon can assist you in passing a level by obliterating the majority of the obstacles in a board. There are reasons against to usingdrawing out the Dragon however. First of all, the fact that the dragon was used is shown in the levels screen. 2nd, the dragon can only be summoned one time each hour. The dragon also appears when a level has been cleared. This gives the opportunity to eliminate as much of the level as possible. The birds can be used to clear as much of the objects as possible. Once this is done all that remains is selecting the correct icon. Shoot into the Screen and the Dragon will appear and lets loose. If all the level is destroyed, a perfect score is won and a fish image is earned.
