Other NBC shows have yet to wait in the wings to know if they're going to be renewed for another season, but as for Life, Chuck, and one TV fan favorite, they're all off the hook as NBC recently announced that they're coming back. Life and Chuck will get back into the airwaves with at least 13 more episodes in the fall, alongside the third season of Heroes. The good news doesn't end there as the superpowered series will be returning with more than a whopping 22 episodes, which would make up for the very short season 2. It is still unknown exactly how many episodes will be produced, but one thing's for sure--Heroes will air sometime this fall. "We are thrilled to be bringing back the high-energy dramas Chuck and Life for next season," Co-Chairman of NBC Entertainment Ben Silverman confirmed. "Additionally, we will be saving and re-launching our #1 drama and most successful franchise, Heroes, so that it will run in all original episodes in the fourth quarter." A lot of Heroes fans were disappointed with the second season of the hit series, as the 11-episode-long season's quality skydived from what season 1 delivered. Creator Tim Kring admitted in several interviews that he's aware of the problems that fans had with season 2, and promised to keep these in mind come season 3 filming. As for Chuck and Life, both of which did not receive skyrocketing ratings, the shows have gathered a solid, dedicated fanbase. As of now, it is still undetermined if they will keep their timeslots or if NBC decides to change their schedule to get higher ratings. Some fans are already assuming that Chuck won't be moving to Thursday nights, where it first aired its final episodes of season 1. Those two episodes garnered very low ratings for the series, and the network may want to think twice about doing that again. Hopefully, the wait for new episodes of our favorite shows will be all worth it.
