They also provide you affordable price based on your budget. ">Situated in the north-eastern region of India, Tinsukia is one of the administrative zones of the state of Assam. Primitively known as Changmai Pathar, Tinsukia antecedently had its name as Bangmara. Tinsukia is bordered by Dibrugarh of Assam in the west-south. The the Lohit District of Arunachal Pradesh and Lower Dibang Valley District lie to the eastern and northern region of Tinsukia, respectively. It is around 480 km north-east of Guwahati and 84 km far away from the border of Arunachal Pradesh. Tinsukia covers a geographical area of around 3800 square kilometers. The major towns of Tinsukia District are Margherita, Digboi, Doomdooma, Tinsukia and Makum. Known for its rich flora and fauna the main rivers that flow through Tinsukia are Lohit, Bhramaputra, Buri Dehing and Dibru. Tinsukia is divided into 3 sub divisions that are Tinsukia, Sadiya and Margherita.

The rich culture adds vibrant history incorporates of various ancient festivals such as Bihu, Shapawang Yawng Manau Poi, Ali-Aye-Ligang, Saghi and Tuluni which are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Shapawang Yawng Manau Poi is known to be the major folk dance festival and is held on February 14 every year. Assamese, Hindi and Bengali are the major languages spoken in this place.

Tinsukia is famous for places like Duaimara, Samdong, Kerimgaon and Kalpara. Other attractions include Chapakhowa, Kundil Bazar and Marut Nandan Kanan Park. The Parashuram Kunda is one of the divine places located in this place. It is popular for the festival of Makar Sankranti. The Bell Temple and the Shiva Dham are a few other pilgrimage centres here. The Rukmini Island, home to a number of endemic and migratory birds, is also quite famous.

Tinsukia has various reserve forests, amongst which the Deopani Reserve Forest, Tarani Reserve Forest, Buridehing Reserve Forest, Hologaon Reserve Forest and Duarmara Reserve Forest are the most famous one.

With an economy based on plantation, agriculture and forestry, the Tinsukia District is known for orange production. Besides, the other crops grown here include ginger, tea, paddy and rice. One of the main tourist spots of Tinsukia is the Dibru-Saikhowa National Park which pulls bird watchers from all over the globe. This national park is also the natural habitat for the wild horse and is open to travelers from the month of November to April.
