One day a fisherman saw a crystal stone and could not help saying, “how beautiful it is!” After hearing the fisherman’s applaud, the stone was so proud of itself and shined more brightly that the other stones around it became dim. They also spoke highly of this stone, “You are so beautiful and we will be happy if we can have half your light.” Upon hearing that, the stone was quite joyful, for it was fond of being praised by other. Gradually, he hated to get along with these stones, which will degrade it. Hence, the stone told to the fisherman, “please take me away with you! I can not bear to stay with these rude stones now.” “Although you look beautiful, you are nota true jewel.” The fisherman refused to do it. “My god! I am so beautiful and shimmering. Even if you don’t think I am a jewel, others don’t think so. Please take me away.” The stone begged him with a frown. Therefore the fisherman had to take it to a craftsman, who was engaged in cutting gems. The craftsman looked at this stone and said, “well, what a beautiful stone it is! After all it is a stone, which can not be made into rings or necklaces. I am even afraid that it will be ugly if I use it to make an accessory.” So the fisherman had to put this stone in the craftsman’s store and the craftsman put this stone and jewels together. Seeing such a strange thing that was not circle or square among them, all the jewels got angry and said, “My god! How ugly it is. Doesn’t it feel shameful if it gets together with us?” The stone was discriminated by the jewels, so it burst into tears and called the fisherman loudly, “Please put me back to the sea among those stones!” The fisherman was confused and asked, “Why? Don’t you want to leave them?” “NO, I want to go back to the sea, where I can find my pride and raise my head.” The stone smiled bitterly. Hence the fisherman put it among other stones. From then on, this stone never show off itself, instead, he greeted with them graciously, for it had seen the truly glittering jewels. After reading story, I think this shiny stone is like a frog in a well, so it was very complacent. In a word, there are lots of information about stone from stonebtb.
