In Germany, there are many churches in every city, including Christ church and Catholic church. Like wise, every city in our China has temples, and a great many people pay a visit to them. Nearly every person who went to Europe will go to church, which is not only a symbol of culture, belief, but also of history. Once I went to Vatican, where I heard the music of bible in the church and saw manual paintings. At that moment I thought I was quite close to God, and the atmosphere cleaned my soul. For many years I have go to every city of Germany and visit so many churches, among which there are only three churches impressing me much. One is Cologne Cathedral, which is named as the highest spire of Europe. It is located in the Rhine and completed after more than 600 years. As we know, Cologne Cathedral is famous for its lightness and elegance. Now it has been the symbol of Cologne city and it is also one of the highest churches. in the world. Originally Germans built such a magnificent building to commemorate great people. Later on, it becomes the symbol of the integration of Germany’s religion, nation and art. It is no deny that Cologne Cathedral is the most perfect Gothic big church. Built in 1248, it has a height of 157.38 meters, a length of 145 meters, a width of 86 meters and a building area of 6000 square meters. The total building was completely built by polished stones. Besides, it also has a simple style of the early Christian era. Notre Dame de Paris and Roman st.Peter’s Cathedral and Cologne Cathedral are named as the three religious building of Europe. Upon getting off the railway station, you will find this magnificent building, whose largest character is that its appearance is dark. It is said that the Germany government once intent to renew it, but after thinking twice, they decided to reserve it as it was in the second war, thus warning people that the war is very terrible. In short, Germany large churches are quite unique that they are different from those in other places. If you have a chance to visit Europe, you should visit them, make a vow and listen to spiritual songs. Finally, if you are interested in churches or stones, you can get in touch with me and visit stonebtb.
