How do you write a book that should be published? A book that is so relevant that it just screams "publish me, get rich"! A book that stands out amongst all those that have earned the right to be published. The answer is content. Relevant content. Content that is exactly what your audience wants. Now, before we start let's get something straight. Content isn't usually the most important item in the holy trinity of book quality. In fact, most readers really can't judge the quality of your content. That's why they are reading your book. They are looking for information on your topic. They are looking to learn your content. In fact, they judge the book more by your organization and your delivery. There's one exception... relevant content. But how do you write a book that should be published? How do you write content that demands to be published? The answer lies in a copywriting technique. Copywriters routinely need to target their writing so that a particular target reader will buy. You need to do the same thing with your book. Why? Because the person you want to target has a need to read your book. That's who will buy your book without a second thought. And more importantly, if you deliver on the promises of your first book, they'll buy more books you write. The key to how to write a book that should be published is to identify your reader. Identify the reason they are buying your book. Identify the problems and pain points they are trying to overcome. Then show them how to solve those problems and overcome those pain points. To do this you need to visualize your target reader. Who is he or she? What do they do for a living? What is their family life like? Are they married? Single? Kids? Parents? Pets? Debts? Income? Savings? Where do they live? Are they busy? Relaxed? Stressed? In fact, give them a name and an age? The more detailed you can be, the more accurate you will be able to target your reader. You need to know this person more intimately than your spouse. You need to be able to get into their head and know exactly what they are thinking and why. Now consider your topic. Why do they care about the topic? How does the topic interact with their environment? How do they interact with their environment? How important is the topic to them? But most important of all... What is their pain point around the topic? What is their biggest pain point? What problem are they going to use your knowledge to solve? What is their biggest problem? How did they get themselves into that problem? How are they going to get out? Then all you need to do is tailor your content to solve their biggest problem or remove their biggest pain point. How do you write a book that should be published? The answer is to write a book that solves the reader's most pressing problem. That removes their most painful pain point. That's how you write a book that should be published! essay writing
