If you let an insect infestation go without properly treated it or worse, ignoring the problem, it will never get any better, and only get worse.
Most of the flying insects, such as mosquitoes, flies, and moths, may enter your home through any available opening they can find, such as open doors, open windows, and open vents. While most of the flying insects may breed outdoors, they will usually enter your home in search of food and water. One of the best ways to keep these flying insects out of your home is to make sure that all your window screens are fitting properly and tightly. Also make sure your self-closing screen doors are kept in excellent repair for the best results, this will keep these insects out of your home. By eliminating all sources of food and water, this will further discourage these flying insects from entering.
Other flying insects such as wasps, bees, yellow jackets, and hornets, which are stinging insects, they may enter your home through an open doorway or find an opening through a damaged screen, but they much rather prefer to live outside. The best way to get rid of these insects once they enter your home is to open a door or window and wait for the insect to find its own way out. But keep in mind that these insects often build visible nests under the eaves of your home and in other protected areas around the exterior of your home. One of the most likely places that these insects love to build their nests is in the attics or hollow walls of your home. There are specialized aerosol sprays that you can purchase at most stores that enable you to zap wasps and hornets (along with their nests) from a safe distance for your safety.
You may knock down the nests only after you have killed the insects first. You can use a broom or with a concentrated spray from your garden hose, spray them till they fall to the ground. The best way to keep stinging insects from building nests in your attic, caulk or you can seal joints around the eaves and soffits. Then you will want to install screens on any open vents around your home.
