In the past, I often thought that I was neither a lucky nor happy person. When I was eighteen years old, I graduated from a high school. At first, I thought I was able to enter a key university, but unfortunately, I was admitted by an ordinary university because of one point. Although the environment of the university was considerably good and many people were eager to study there, I was still very disappointed with it. When receiving the little of admission, I felt upset and sorrowful rather than happy or excited. Four years later, I graduated from university and was assigned to teach in a middle school of a small town. Unlike me, many of my classmates worked in the city because of their family backgrounds or connections. At that time, the global employment status was rather depressed, so many people looked appreciated my job, nevertheless, I remained disappointed. On that day when reporting for duty, I complained everything all the way. After stepping into society, some people who started working with me were promoted, but I stagnated all the time. Although I achieved a little success in terms of work and writing, I was still indignant. Every mouth I took the low wage, I would sigh melancholy. Before long, I read a story, from which I learnt much. Long long ago, there was a unhappy king, and he was always scrowling day and night, which made his ministers and imperial physicians be at a loss what to do. Later on, a monk pointed out that the king’s illness would ne cured as long as he could find a happy person and put on that person’s shoes. Therefore, all ministers started to look for happy person here and there. One day, they heard a farmer singing happily in a loud voice in the field, so they came to him and asked, “Do you think you are happy?” “Of course, I am happy everyday.” Upon hearing that, the ministers got very joyful, so they immediately asked the farmer for his shoes. Unexpectedly, the farmer was too poor to have a pair of shoes. To be honest, after reading this story, I am suddenly enlightened. It is no deny that human being’s lusts are endless like the vast sea, so no matter how hard-working you are, you will never be satisfied. When we don’t have houses to keep out wind and rain, we think we will get happy as long as we own a house. But in fact, when we really own it, we are still unhappy, for we find it is too shabby or small. When we have no great power, we thing we will get happy as long as we own greatest power. But in fact, when we really own it, we are still unhappy, for we find we have no true friends. Originally, it is easy to gain happiness if we are clam like the farmer. Finally, as a well-known E-platform of promoting stone industry, we try our best to match global supply and demand resources and promote the mutual prosperity and development for worldwide stone industry trade comprehensively and freely stonebtb.
