The views from everywhere at Shompole are stunning none more so than from the absolutely sensational infinity pool looking out over Shompole mountain. Shompole is an extraordinary place to spend a part of your Kenya Tanzania Safari, where you can just relax by the pool gazing in wonderment at your surroundings, as you sip a cool drink and read a book. However you have come to Shombole to see Game, to walk in the Great Rift Valley, and there is ample opportunity for you to do this. There are walks, game drives, river trips on the Ewaso Nyiro River and sundowner visits to lake Natron to see the young flamingos, and you could even witness a leopard as the sun goes down. The Game Drives are in open 4x4 Toyota Landcruisers. At Shompole you will be on full board which includes all meals laundry, safaris, airstrip transfers, and all drinks except champagne. The airstrip at Shompole is half an hours flying time from Nairobi, and the same time from the Mara, but if you want to drive it will take you over three hours from Nairobi.
