Located on the banks of the Nagawara Lake, Lumbini Gardens is a wave pool with an artificial beach. Situated in an area of 12,500 square feet, the pool provides the best and safest form of entertainment. It also has a children’s pool. A modern filtration plant is used to maintain the quality of the water in the pool. Lumbini Gardens, situated on the banks of the Nagawara Lake on the Outer Ring Road, is among the most visited tourist destinations in Bangalore. This leisure and eco-friendly boating park offers numerous entertainment activities to visitors. A lifeguard is always on the standby for extra safety. The Lumbini Gardens houses a rose nursery with varied flowers, herbs and aromatic plants. The visitors can enjoy strolling along the lake on the well-groomed lawns and aromatic garden. Travellers can choose from activities like pedal boating, pleasure boating, kiddie rides, Spanish bull riding and trampoline bungee jumping. An artificial beach has been designed at the lakeside for the entertainment of the visitors. The Lumbini Gardens can be easily accessed by bus, auto-rickshaws and taxis from any part of the city. The garden will remain open from 11 in the morning to 7 in the evening from Monday to Friday. There is a fee for admission into the Lumbini Gardens. Situated in Deccan Plateau, Bangalore in Karnataka has alias like the ‘Pensioner’s Paradise’ and the ‘City of Gardens’. Among the churches are Infant Jesus Church and St. Mary’s Basilica. Among the numerous mosques are Tawakkal Masjid, Jumma Masjid, Masjid-e-Khadrik and Dargah Hazarat. Among the other attractions in Bangalore are Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Cubbon Park, Ulsoor Lake, Hesaraghatta Lake, Nagavara Lake, Madiwala Lake, Hebbal Lake, Gandhi Bhawan, Ravindra Kalakshetra and Race Course.
