Beginning last year, the financial crisis has brought great impact to China plastics industry, the low-cost plastic products in the Middle East also bring tremendous pressure. Currently the China plastics industry is facing a test of the survival and development, in addition to government support, the strategic restructuring of enterprises is very important. The outbreak of the financial crisis is a fatal blow to China's plastics industry. Plastic toys, leather, packaging, wire rope and other plastic products of exports rapidly shrinking, resulted in the collapse of a large number of plastic production companies. 2009 China Plastics Industry Association report shows that this year, quarter plastics enterprises are financial loss. However, expert revealed that the actual situation is probably much worse than the statistics, for example, PVC production enterprises are whole industry loss. There are indications that China's plastics industry is facing a test, the cooperation of the government and enterprise is very important. In June this year, the outcome of the negotiations of a free trade zone between China and the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Saudi capital Riyadh, many plastic companies breathed a sigh of relief. China finally has not joined Heico SCO, Chinese companies most worry about the Middle East of 5 ethylene production project has not actually put into operation too. It is understood that in 2009 the Middle East will have five new ethylene cracker projects try to run, mainly for the use of ethane method to produce ethylene. After the five large projects are putted into operation, Middle East of ethylene production capacity from 16.9 million tons in 2008 will add to 28.1 million tons in 2012. Middle East ethylene production capacity will increase to 7.1 million tons in 2009, Saudi Arabia, the new capacity will be more than 400 million tons per year, Iran's new capacity will be more than 100 million tons / year, Kuwaiti production capacity of 850,000 tons / year, Qatar new capacity will be 975,000 tons / year. Five ethylene cracker projects now just have the initial intention, because of the impact of the crisis it has not been really putted into operation. The specific time has not decided, therefore, China imports price of ethylene does not appear to crash. China Customs import and export statistics show 6-7 months of this year, China imports of HDPE over 400,000 tons per month; LDPE of imports from February monthly are more than 10 million tons, the highest ever record. The first four months of this year, polyolefins supply from the Middle East increased significantly. Saudi Arabia has been ranked China's second largest polypropylene importing countries, total exports to China of about 160,000 tons, an increase of over 400%; Iran exports 89,500 tons of high-density polyethylene to China, becoming fourth largest importer in China. Zhangjiagang Hope Import & Export Co.,Ltd specialize in manufacturing all kinds of foam and sponge products, mainly are Wood floor underlay, Foam tape, adhesive foam board and laminate floor underlay.
