Situated in the Sola Santej Road, the Science Cityoffers a new informative experience for tourists as well as students. IMAX 3D Theatre in the science city is a wonderful experience for children. Musical fountain is also a great entertainment for the tourists. AkshardhamTemple of Swaminarayan sect in Gandhinagar, showcases the richness of Indian culture. The architectural significance of the temple is amazing. This shrine houses the 7 feet gold statue of Lord Swaminarayan and has three exhibition halls highlighting the richness of Indian Culture. Gandhiji’s Ashram is built on the banks of the river Sabarmati in 1915. The museum and the sound and light show in the ashram exhibit the life and the great activities of our father of the nation. The city of Ahmedabad can be reached by air, rail and road from the other cities. The best time to visit the city is during October and November.
