Cala Galdana is without a doubt one of southern Spain’s finest gems. Year-round sunshine warms the air and radiant blue skies provide the idyllic backdrop for a beach break. Aqua Rock Water Park Not far from many Cala Galdana villas is Aqua Rocks, the main waterpark on the island. This is certainly a place that kids will love. The park accommodates children of all ages and has four main slides with different “excitement levels.” There are also smaller slides, which are perfect for young children. The property has three pools: a main pool perfect for swimming with an attached Jacuzzi; a kids pool; and a third pool, which many find to be the best. Twice an hour for approximately fifteen minutes, a warning siren is activated to alert guests that the pool's wave machine is activated. Sunbeds are located throughout the park and there is also a large grassy area to lie out towels and enjoy the sun. Aqua Rocks has its own on-site restaurant and various vending machines located throughout so that families do not need to bring anything but themselves. Aqua Rocks is conveniently located right next to a go-karting track. If the family gets tired of splashing around in the water and are looking for a different adventure they can head over to the track and engage in a bit of friendly competition. Single and double rider karts are available and this is certainly bound to keep the older kids (and maybe some parents too) entertained. Transportation to and from Aqua Rocks is very easy from most Cala Galdana villas. The villas are situated so that families can get to and from the beach, waterparks, restaurants and shops with ease.
