Well, the best way to get that amazing body is by two things, eating properly and getting out of that chair you are in. In this article here you will find some methods to obtain that lean body you so badly want. Diet of Course Let's start with what your daily diet is and try to lower some of the bad things we consume on a daily basis. I'm talking about the highly processed foods that are hurting so many of us today. The fatty diets we consume are the culprits of many illnesses and the obesity that is crippling this nation today. We all know the best place to start is with a healthy diet. Avoiding the junk food and foods that are high in sugar is a test for all us, but once you start seeing results the easier it gets. So let's try to replace that junk food with some healthier alternatives with foods that are low in fat and cholesterol. You have to incorporate whole grains, fruits and vegetables into your daily regime. I believe that you can indulge yourself every once in a while by treating yourself to some guilty pleasures hear and there, but always remember that moderation is the key here. Tip #1 - If you are having trouble and find yourself getting hungry throughout the day, grab an apple or some yogurt for an in between meal snack. This is also good for your metabolism, which also helps you lose weight. The foods that are laden with transfats such as fries and chips are the types of food you want avoid. Try to eat food with the good fats to reduce the bad ones. Eat foods that are rich in monounsaturated fats and Omega 3. Some examples would be things like avocados, salmon, nuts, soybeans and seeds. Plus consuming foods with vitamin C such as kiwi and oranges can help you obtain those lean abs. Vitamin C helps keep your hormones in balance that are usually released when you are stressed out. Most people don't know that being stressed will cause people to put on weight. Tip #2 - Vitamin C help convert fat into energy. Exercise We all know this is one of the toughest parts to obtaining that body you so badly desire. Just gettingout of your chair is the first part, but maintaining a consistent workout routine is the most importantthing we you can do. Intense exercise routines and abs workouts must be done consistently to achieve that desired body. Exercise on a treadmill or elliptical for your cardio and set it at different speed levels from a gentle walk to a slow but steady run. This intense exercise can help you achieve your goal and help you achieve a healthier lifestyle. It's important to not over do it and alternate between the two paces of walking and running. Doing this on a consistent basis is key to losing weight and getting to your goal. Play with the incline levels and start at around 1.5 or 2.0. Listen to music and have fun as this will help you do your cardio exercises in a relaxing way. There are other alternatives as well because if you do not have access to a treadmill machine, you can walk up and down your stairs or do some aerobics from home. Tip #3 - Whatever workout you do, try and hold your abs in. This will help you get those lean abs you want much faster. Something I prefer when it's a nice day is to head outside for a walk or a jog instead of spending hours in the sweaty gym. By changing the environment of your exercise venue can make your workout more fresh and new. All this will help you slim down the fats around the tummy area quicker. Remember to speed walk or sprint for about thirty seconds, as this will help you increase your endurance much quicker. Try to repeat this cycle for thirty minutes. Tip #4 - If you are finding yourself unmotivated to go to the gym or to start your workout routine, workout with a partner, this will make working out more fun and help you stay motivated with someone to keep you accountable. The elliptical is a very good cardio workout, which will help you work on those specific areas. As you are moving the lower part of the body, you get an excellent lower body workout. You need to implement intervals while doing this workout and aim for two minutes of a 5-6/10 intensity and then do another minute of exertion rate of 8-9/10. Most of what we are talking about here is cardio as this is key to any exercise regime. One really good resource on proper nutrition and getting those lean abs is here at truthaboutabs.com. Little bit about myself: I grew up in sunny Southern California living a very active lifestyle ranging from surfing to basketball. I now live in Portland Oregon with my wife and two girls and still manage to get to the gym 3-4 times a week. Helping people reach their goals is my passion. Whether through my business that I run or friends who need to get active, I love helping people with their goals.
