There is a saying goes like this: "Stretching oneself oneself is an ancient precept which help relive fatigue, protect the heart and blood." We can infer from this that ancients are very dedicated to stretching themselves. Stretching oneself, deep breathing, chest expansion, exhibition waist, arm lifting, leg tauting can help smoothen the movements in the veins and relax the bones and muscles. Intentional stretches can make the whole body comfortable and relaxing. Even you do not feel fatigue, stretches will also make you refreshed. From the point of view of physiology, stretches can mobilize the parts which are originally in stillness, such as muscles, joints and visceral organs, increase the blood flow between different parts. In the stretching process, abdominal breathing and chest breathing are going at the same time which can increase the oxygen content in the blood greatly and they can be fully transferred and utilized in the body of health which is is of great benefits to one's health. Stretching oneself is very simple to do and is suitable for people of all ages. After long time's sitting, lying or hard work, doing a few stretches in the spacings in the office can not only eliminate the fatigue but also shape the figure and reduce weight.
