On any given Friday or Saturday night, the Houston nightclub activity can run pretty high. There is always a lot going on around the city nearly every weekend that goes by. My friends and I always try to make the most of it and since all of us are single, making the most of it usually means trying to hook up with a girl that we meet. Inevitably over time there have been occasions where things have not gone so smoothly and some type of argument or fight breaks out over a girl. Thankfully, the funniest one I can remember didn't actually happen to me for a change. It started out just like any other Friday night usually does. We went to a couple of different bars and clubs looking to see how things were going. I was the designated driver this night, so no drinks for me and I was actually working as the wingman that night as well. My one buddy seemed to be doing well, chatting it up with a friendly looking young lady down at the end of the bar. My other friend was off playing a video game somewhere so I just sat at the table and relaxed. My friend and the young lady came over to table and sat down. She was quite a stunning girl with long brown hair and pretty eyes. She introduced herself and sat down and the three of us starting chatting. My buddy then decided to go up and try to get some drinks for the two of them. There was quite a line at the bar so he might have been gone a while. A moment later my other friend shows up, back from playing some video game. He sees the girl sitting at the table with me and immediately slides over to her, introduces himself and starts to hit on her. I tried to interrupt him several times to let him know what was going on, but he wouldn't listen to me and to my surprise, the girl never said anything to him about being with my friend. The two of them left the table and got up to dance. On his way back from the bar with drinks, my other friend notices the two of them out dancing and approaches them. He pushes our friend a way and pretty soon a shoving match breaks out with drinks flying. The bouncers immediately jump in and throw my two friends out. I ran outside to see if they were okay. After figuring out the misunderstanding, everything was cool. We all sat outside and had a good laugh and then saw the girl in question leaving with another guy.
