Word-of-mouth is great for business, but the written word is even better. Testimonials are the best way to grow your business since they can reach so many people in a relatively short amount of time. They can help to lend credibility to your business and let others know what you are all about. Since they are straight from customers, other customers will value the opinions and trust what they read. They are one of the most valuable and useful tools from a marketing a sales standpoint that you can use.

Instead of purchasing expensive ads and having to come up with slogans and so forth, you can let your customers do the talking for you. They can make others aware of how wonderful your business is and let them know that they should do business with you as well. You should let customers know that you respect their opinions and input. You want to let customers know that they really matter. You can accomplish this by telling your customers that you have nothing to hide and everybody is free to be frank and honest. Let your customers express themselves and throw some extra business your way at the same time.

When utilizing testimonials, there are some important things to keep in mind. Be sure to place them prominently where customers can see them, peruse them and post their own accounts.
