In my past three articles, I have defined and explained the art of website copy writing in a brief way. Although those previous articles are not going to make you a website content writer but they are a little help in making you more knowledgeable regarding the things that need to be focused when designing a website. As I already told, I will be summarizing all my points that were previously discussed in other articles. 1. Research on the topic: Before you start to write about the topic of website content first research on the topic to know the pros and cons in that way you will be able to get a clear perspective. This will further enable you to highlight the brighter aspects of your topic to the public. For example if topic is company logo, then you should research on the company logo and terms that are related to it. Like, business logo design and how these business logo designs are made? Etc. 2. Write the headline: Whether you are writing the articles for optimizations purposes or content for the sales page, readers will only read your content if they like the headline. And according to research 8 out of 10 people only read the headline while the other two read the rest of the article. So, if people stop at your headline only, then you are dead. 3. Write with the flow Remember, copy writing is for human beings, writing it for only robots will never work. SEO is good for website content optimization, but reading by humans is better. So, try to focus more on the flow that humans can understand. 4. Keep keywords in mind: And if you are applying keywords in your content then be sure to remember the keywords density. Don’t overdo it in haste, because that can ruin all previous work of yours. It's better to learn the formula and then write the content. Only after the content is finished, then try to press keywords in the spaces. Because quality content is what people like to read, not a content that’s based on keywords only. 5. Proof read at the end: I had myself made some mistakes in the past that I forgot to read a few of web content that I was submitting to my boss. Although he was a good and sympathetic fellow and he did not say much except some words of caution for future, but all are not like him. So, my advice to you will be to always proofread your content before submitting. So, ends the website copy writing topic. In the end I would like to tell the readers, it’s all about the practice that makes a man specialized in a certain task. As for web content writing that also depends on the practice.
