Historic and Cultural Tours are presented in the town of Steamboat Springs. The Tread of Pioneers Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-5pm. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors above 62, $1 for children ages 6 - 12, and admission for children under 6 years is free. Admission for Routt County residents is likewise free of charge, although ID is mandatory.

The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is a nonprofit group organized by the community and created in 1972. It is committed to cultural and art programming and serves as an advocate and advisor for more than 30 AFFILIATE local arts organizations. It is housed in the historic Train Depot alongside the Yampa River in the west end of town. It also operates the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at The Depot. The Arts Depot offers community space, performing arts space, and visual arts galleries.
