Human psychology is a complex thing, but I will be discussing the human psychology here as media psychology and the social behavior. There are some questions around which this article will revolve. Like do people get attracted by custom logo design of a company or not? IF they do, why they do get attracted? What is in the custom logo design of a company that attracts the people? What they perceive from different modern logos design? There are some questions and some answers to these questions. But, in simple words, we cannot entirely focus on the perceptions. And according to media psychology theories, there are two of them which I will explain below: 1. Catharsis theory of media psychology: According to this theory a person perceives an opposite effect of the product that he sees on TV. For example, if a person is shown on TV in an aggressive behavior. The person watching him will feel the opposite in real life. That is to say that if a custom logo design is shown to him a lot of times, through billboards, through TV ads and even through brochures and pamphlets. That person will get fed up by that photographer logo designer and will eventually boycott the product as a whole. 2. Stimulation Theory of media Psychology: It’s totally opposite to catharsis theory, in stimulation theory the person who watches something on TV or reads something, that means if the person perceives something from the media, that person is stimulated by that medium. As an example, I will again give the example of the aggressive behavior. A person who is shown on TV in aggressive behavior will impact the viewers in the same way. And a feeling of aggressive behavior will also arouse in the viewers. Same is the case with logo design, if people are shown, product lots of times. They will unintentionally incline towards buying that product more than the other products. So, we can say that psychology has a full fledge effect on the human being. But according to research only 7 to 9% effect is perceived on human beings. Other factors play a bigger role in affecting them to buy the right product for their choice.
