Aquatica is a pioneer in Water Theme Park with all the rides and slides are related to water in the whole eastern India. Aquatica, spread across an area of 17 acres of land, is situated at Kouchpukur in the state of Kolkata. It is located very close to Kolkata New Township and it was started in 1999. This beautiful park covers 75,000 sq ft of pool area with several exiting water rides.There is a beautiful dancing floor called Aqua Dance with unique features of dancing on water jet floor. The growing metropolitan city Kolkata is the capital of the Indian State, West Bengal. The city, situated on the banks of River Hoogly, is popularly called the ‘City of Joy’. The prominent attraction at Aquatica is 65ft high Niagrafalls, which is one of the world’s highest artificial waterfall, which has a bathing capacity of 400 people at a time.These activities are inclusive of entry charges. There are some pay zones like 4- wheel car Drive (for Kids), Lockers and Costumes.In Aquatica there are Deluxe AC Room suits, Conference Hall, Party Hall, Board Room, Food Courts, and Island Shoppe-The Verities Store and Island café- a multi cuisine Veg Restaurant.Timings of the amusement park are from 10 AM to 06 PM daily. It is a wonderful amusement park for the tourists who want to refresh themselves with different water rides. There are certain rules to be followed by the tourists for their own safety. Some of the rides in Auatica are Lazy River, Multilane Race Surfer, Malibu Body Slide Mississippi, Black Hole, Body 30 Slide, Raft Slide, Aqua Dance, Wave Pool, Tornado, Cyclone, Dry Land and Ship Pool. Drinking, smoking and eating are not allowed around the pool. Lockers, showers, costumes, towels and tubes are available on chargeable basis. Appropriate bath suites are required for slides and parents or teachers are advised to accompany their kids. Tickets can be booked by online too. The city of Kolkata can be reached by air, rail and by road. The bus route to Aquatica is from Howrah we can head towards Sealdah and from there reach Ultadanga and further move to Kestopur VIP. Auatica is situated nearby this place. Rooms with all amenities are available in the resorts and the price of which ranges from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 3500/-. The city of Kolkata has a tropic wet and dry climate. The summer is hot and the winter is pleasant. The perfect time to visit the city of Kolkata is from October to March.
