As the last discovered land mass, New Zealand is our youngest country. From the sub-tropical Northland, to the wilder parts of Otago and Southland, Aotearoa (New Zealand) has something for all visitors. Due to it's comparatively little size, for the fortunate visitor to New Zealand, it is actually possible to travel from west coast to east coast on the same day, passing from coastal heath land, through raging brooks, across alpine mountain passes, and back to impressive coastal views. Your best pal in New Zealand is your camera, and the large number of photograph opportunities will take your breath away (yes it actually is that superb). New Zealand is a country of various history and way of life, and if one thing actually stands out, it's the friendly nature of the neighbors. Kiwis, as the neighbors are known, are warm and amiable, and your vacation will be made more delightful if you begin to know some neighbors and dunk yourself in the wealthy Kiwi culture. New Zealand offers visitors an amazing assortment of views and climate. From rough shores, to raging glacial streams, to glorious snow-capped Alps, and thermal wonderlands, New Zealand has something for everybody. Summers are dry and warm, and winters are commonly cold, with snow in numerous areas (making it a destination of choice for snow boarders and those needing to board New Zealand). New Zealand also has a powerful sporting heritage, with their most recognized sport being Rugby Union. The Nation's team is often known as the All Blacks are devoted to their team. Without exception, if you ask a Kiwi about rugby, they'll talk for hours on the topic. The standard Haka is definitely performed by the All Blacks before a world match, and is a genuine eye opener, as they lay down the "challenge" to their opponents. The New Zealand National Theme is also proudly sung by neighbors and their team before all the important sporting fittings. This truly is a country with something for everybody.
