Then you wait for them to make the next move and then you respond by moving and helping them and so on. So the point is here, again, would you be willing to work with that person and invest your own precious time and money in growing and developing that person before you invite them to your presentation or before you take your distributor to the next level of training. You must never give up on anybody until they give up on themselves. They stop going to the functions, they stop using the products, they stop making presentations, they are obviously giving up on themselves and then you cannot help them. Tough and brutal but true. The goal of talking to people when you are prospecting is not to sponsor them but it is to get an appointment for a presentation, be that presentation on the ground at somebody's home or an online presentation in a web conference room. You need to feel out if there is interest in the opportunity from the prospect and then to know if you have a qualified prospect or not. If you decide that they are qualified then you obviously make the appointment with the prospect to attend one of your presentations. You do not tell a prospect anything until we can tell that prospect everything. What that means is that you must stop trying to sponsor people on the subway or on the streets or at shopping centres. You will not bring in the type of people you want prospecting in this way. You need to pre screen your prospects and then determine whether they are qualified to attend one of your presentations. There is a prospecting process that you need to go through and follow without deviation. Everybody that you meet are suspects. So everybody living in your country or in your neighbourhood, they are all suspects. The process here is to take all those suspects that you meet for the first time and you then need to turn them into prospects. You will definitely find that some of those suspects do not qualify as prospects and you need to get over that fact.
