Some of the emergency equipment stored in a Chemistry lab is as follows: Fire extinguisher – It is a fire extinguishing tool that is stored in a compartment attached to the wall. Safety Shower – It is located just next to the lab entrance. It is used to release water to flush off entire body and clothing in case there is a large serious chemical splash. Red fire alarm – It is on the wall at eyelevel next to the fire extinguisher. First aid kit – It is used on the lab next to the exit doors. Spill kit – It is a kit placed in a labeled cabinet in the lab. It is used for large chemical spills on the countertop or floor. Eye wash station – It is a station situated below the safety shower.
