FilAmJam! is an entertaining musical romp that goes onstage on June2, 2012 at 7:30pm at the Celebrity Centre International, featuringfour young award-winning singers: Pearl Aguinaldo, AllysonCantimbuhan, Erika delos Santos and Daryl Ogalino. The talentedfoursome shall be performing current hits and a slew of revivals,with songs from the 80s and Tagalog hits. Come and groove to theyouthful vibe of current hits and immerse yourself in nostalgiawith your favorite songs. Making a special appearance are the students of the Learn FilipinoProgram of the Bahay Kubo Center for Philippine Culture and Arts,the beneficiary of this concert. Allyson Cantimbuhan is a 12-year-old vocal dynamo who progressedfrom being in the Top 10 of Hollywood s Best New Talent 2008 toPrelude Singing Champion of 2010. In 2011, she was awarded as BestChild Performer of the Year by Gawad Amerika. Hailing from Walnut,CA, the 7th grader of Oswalt Academy is also active in sports and atopnotcher in school. Ally is known for her soulful R&B vocalstyle and packing a big voice that belies her young age. Erika Delos Santos is the Grand Champion of the Tawag ngTanghalan-USA 2009 and the RK Records Industry Showcase BestR&B Artist for 2010. 15-year-old Erika was recently awarded TheMost Promising Female Entertainer of the Year by Gawad Amerika.This statuesque young belter, whose repertoire includes country,R&B, pop, sings in both English and Tagalog, and plays thepiano and guitar. Erika is honor student at St. Lucy s Priory HighSchool in Glendora, CA. Erika will next be seen at the SabanTheatre on April 14 in Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez and Ai-Aidelas Alas s Three s Company. Daryl Ogalino was merely 17 years old when he became the USA GrandChampion of Tawag ng Tangahalan. Now 21 years old, the CSUN studentis also Celebrity Chronicle s Most Promising Male Vocalist of 2009and Gawad Amerika s Rising Star of the Year in 2010. Daryl, knownfor being a balladeer, is also adept on electric guitar. Whilecompleting his studies in Environmental and Occupational HealthSciences, he is also a Ballroom Dancing competitor and instructor.
