Intel said that with the current Ivy Bridge processors, code-named "Haswell" next-generation processor laptop battery life can be increased by 50% or more. Intel processor architecture, corporate vice president and general manager Rani Boka (Rani Borkar) Thursday at a press conference, said, Haswell processor for notebook and tablet computers are designed, especially in reducing energy consumption. Boca said, Haswell processors extend battery life and also without affecting performance. In standby mode, Haswell in energy efficiency even better performance, battery life, and even increased by about 20-fold.
