With the improvement and requirement of living standard and the food quality, the packing was required to meet a higher and stricter standard. In this case, food packing industry is trying hard to explore a new world which is able to meet the needs of the maximum market. New developed plastic packing film is on a trend of efficiency, non-toxic, environment friendly and cheap. Soft packing material has developed to serve the industrial packing, medical packing and even cosmetic packing. It is said that paper honeycomb has been introduced and welcomed as a green packing box, but it is still a long way to go till it become the main packing material. In these recent years, the idea of low carbon has reached the field of packing. The packing material EPS is a mixture which would be a little harmful to the environment. Therefore, European countries have set some rules to limit the polluted ingredients in the packing materials. According to a research, more than 1 billion stere of EPS had been assumed, which were worth about 350 billion Chinese Yuan. In the meanwhile, to use the paper honeycomb instead would be able to save more than 20 million of wood. Green packing is the future of packing box industry. It is the trend of the entire industry. Dairy product is required to be environment friendly and recyclable. The packing box of dairy product should be totally non-polluted. Every step of the processes of producing and recycling should be energy saving and materials saving, which are two basic requires of green packing. Besides, there are many fields are trying to use this kind of environment friendly packing material to pack product. Some Computer Component manufacturers started to use this new packing material instead of the old one. To use it, would make the packing design easy and accurate. The result of protection is much more important than the decoration of the packing. As for this material, its advantage is not only green but also well-protectable. In addition, the ways of recycling the packing material are various nowadays. Flexographic printing with water-based ink would be even more benefit for the environment. The area of forest has kept reducing for years. Some western consumers would refuse to purchase the wood which could not prove to be legal. Reading this sign, environment friendly is one of the powers to win the business competition. The future of packing industry is to keep the world green.
