How it Works: Almost 80% of your customers call your business from their cell phones even though it costs more than the traditional land line. Paytel allows you to capitalise from this new trend allowing you to earn up to 50c per minute on all such cell phone calls. Primarily aimed at calls received from cell phones Paytel numbers are extremely simple to implement with no impact on your current system. We provide your business with a second phone number which is a "virtual cell phone number". This number is then linked to your main switchboard number so that when it is called from a cell phone your main line will ring. The versatility of the number allows you to receive any number of calls simultaneous providing your switchboard has sufficient incoming lines. In other words, if your land line is engaged, your Paytel number will also be engaged and visa versa. When cell phone customers call your business via your Paytel number, these calls are connected directly from one cellular network to another cellular network bypassing the land line infrastructure. By capitalising on large call volumes we can then deliver the call to your switchboard for cheaper and pass the difference in profits over to you. This means that on average you will earn 34c per minute excl VAT ( or 38.76c incl. Vat) from all the calls received on your Paytel number. We recommend that you still advertise your normal land line number in combination with your Paytel number, since you do not necessary want your land line customers to call the more expensive cell phone rate. However, if land line customers also call your Paytel number it too will generate revenue for your account. More Examples: 1) If your business receives 30 calls per day, each lasting about 6 minutes per call you will receive R 1,436.00 pm 2) If your business receives 600 calls per day each lasting 5 minutes each you will earn R23,310 pm extra The costs of calls made to Paytel numbers are the cell phone rate of R 2.85 per minute also referred to as value added services (VAS) rates. Since cell phone callers are already paying cell phone rates it has little effect on them opposed to land line users. The more people that phone your business via your Paytel number and the longer they talk, the more you earn. It's that simple. You can implement your new Paytel number without any down time and no loss of any current business.
