When most men learn to shave they learn by watching their fathers when they are young boys. The shaving cream would be applied in a circular motion with the brush, allowing the whiskers to stand up easier and causing the face to get an exfoliation at the same time. The barber then would take a sharpened razor blade and begin to remove the whiskers. After the face was shaven the barbers would then apply a tonic that would help to close the pores on the face, and would leave their client smelling fresh. The art of shaving a man with this technique is becoming popular again. Men are starting to pamper themselves by enjoying a nice relaxing shave from their favorite barber.
