The Crest teeth whitening method, also known as the Crest whitestrips have been found to be very effective in treating teeth stain. But the people must take some precautionary measures before the products by Crest. Cautions to be adopted at the time of using Crest whitestrips - One thing that should be kept in the mind is that this method can be used only to whiten teeth that are natural. But it is not effective in the whitening of fillings, crowns, dentures and caps.
- The product should not be used by those children who have not yet attained the age of 12. this is due to the fact that the nerve of the tooth is enlarged till this age. It has been seen that the procedure adopted to whiten the teeth can cause irritation in the pulp or make it sensitive.
- The effect of the product can be seen best on teeth that has turned yellow. If the satins are gray in color then the product might not work well. In that case the best thing is that the person must take the help of a dentist.
- One thing that should be also noted is that only the front portion of the teeth is covered by the whitestrip. If they are used on the back side then they might go loose.
- Before using the strips the person must always take into consideration the expiration date. Though they does not cause any harm, but the whitening effect is not that best.
In many cases it has been seen that the person feels irritation at the time of whitening procedure. This is temporary and vanishes within some days.
