A lot of people haven't been impressed with the Taylormade RBZ driver. Most like the R11S better. As for the claim of 30 more yards. Really? Did you really believe that a new driver would give you 30 more yards on your drives?
The RocketBallz Driver is the best series TaylorMade has brought to the market in a long time. The RBZ feels lighter than the other Taylormade driver, which promotes club-head speed. Once it strikes the golf ball, it acts like a trampoline shooting the golf ball off its face. The launch angle is better than the other TaylorMade drivers I have used. The RBZ did increase my average driving distance by 15 yards.
It comes with a wrench to make these adjustments. You can go out to the driving range and adjust the loft and lie of the club until it matches your golf swing. Another aspect that I like about the RBZ driver is the color. It comes in a white head, similar to the R11 driver best price and can easily be aligned on the golf ball during address. The white head stands out and only has the alignment mark, which makes it easier to see.
The RBZ is much more compact, sleeker, traditional shape design that appeals to my eye more. TaylorMade designed the RBZ to make it one of the longest and most forgiving drivers on the market. The Flight Control Technology of the RBZ allows players to alter face angle, loft and lie angle for increased accuracy and distance – which basically means, there is an RBZ option for you.
There is also lots of buzz around the new TaylorMade R1 driver, which Dustin Johnson, Brian Gay and John Cook used to win early-season tournaments this year. Adjustability is the big story here, and the R1 gives golfers the ability to make 12 loft-sleeve adjustments and seven face-angle positions. Players can also fiddle with ball flight through use of the two movable shot-shape weights.
