The next thing is (this is not practice this is not gonna to be as friendly,) hopefully their not acting like this is life and death but this is much more intense version than training in your home school should be. This guys gonna try to rip your head off, his family might be their watching etc. and hes gonna go that much harder and your probably gonna go that much harder also, The next thing is you will have multiple matches. Hopefully the tournament is double elimination tournament for your 1st tournament so you can go out there if you lose and compete again. This way you can hopefully learn as much as possible from this experience. The next thing is you should be trying to have fun, your trying to practice what you been training in the gym and you need to have taken take notes of the things you did wrong and can back to the gym on Monday and fix whatever went wrong. Dont wait until a week later, go back right away and starts training so everything is still fresh in your mind that way you can get the most benefits from the tournament. If you wait you will have forgotten most of what you did wrong. Also try to take a video of the match that way you can go home and review it. This way you can see what you did wrong and try to take away as much as possible from the tournament. Travis S. Lutter is an American mixed martial artist who won The Ultimate Fighter 4 reality show.
