A new Identity Theft alert issued is extremely disturbing. Business Identity Theft is growing. These criminals without conscious are altering State records stealing Business Identity. They are growing their technology skills with intent and focus to destroy lives, much like malignant cancer growing rapidly and cloning its evilness as it grows. If you have ever owned a business name, go to your State Department of Corporations, you can do this on-line and check your name and your business name, especially if your business name is inactive, and if you have a fictitious name listing. The new trend is that criminals alter the records listed add a fake name or even their own name as an officer or registered agent and pay the renewal fee. They steal the business name. Is your business safe? These Identity Thieves then conduct business as if you still owned it. They use the business for money laundering, or other criminal acts. If not caught in time, your reputation along with your financial identity is destined for ruin. The state I live in is addressing this issue aggressively, but they didn't catch it quickly enough. Regardless of what law enforcement does, these Phantoms of Identity Theft are usually one step ahead. It is your responsibility to keep your identity safe. No one is immune. Identity Theft can happen to anyone anywhere anytime. Say in touch with the fraud alerts. You can get this with your email account. Sign into the Government Sites that are working to get this epidemic under control. Forget about the political chatter for fifteen minutes and think about your safety and the safety of your family. Identity Theft is the fastest growing crime in the world. Get involved, get information, and get serious about what is happening. It's your life. Are you going to allow them to steal it? Nothing is more dangerous than sincere ignorance. How do I know so much about the trauma that Identity Theft can have on a family? It happened to me. And when Identity Theft happens to one member of a family; it happens to the entire family. Take precautions to secure your computer with the right software and monitor your information daily. Please do not leave your mail in an unsecured mail box. Don't throw your receipts bank statements, medical records, prescription bottles in the garbage. Use your debit card as a credit card, you don't have to enter your pin number. Are you sure it will never happen to you? If you are one hundred percent sure you will never be attacked by Identity Theft then you can forget about finding out more information. The fact is no one is safe. The Phantoms of Identity Theft are multiplying like roaches. It's hard to catch a roach and even harder to kill it. This heinous crime is a reality. Greed is running rampant. Today in these difficult financial times and tight economy predators lurk in the shadows looking for targets or victims to prey upon. They search out and find financial information, pilfer the banks, credit cards and investment accounts of their victims. For the most part, these criminals walk away with their victims identity and are seldom caught. You can learn valuable lessons that will protect you..Want to know more?
