Since Samsung launched Galaxy Mega (6.3 inch and 5.8 inch), it has included 6.0 inch in the category of the mobile phone product line to realize the goal of “Full Size Cover” on mobile devices market. Galaxy S4 with 5.0 inch and Galaxy Note II with 5.5 inch are the main flagship products of Samsung. Meanwhile, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets are 7.0 inch and above. So there is no gap between mobile phones and tablet PCs for Samsung after launching Galaxy Mega. With realizing the popularity of large-screen smartphone and the marketing gap of 6.0 inch screen, Huawei and many other manufactures cannot wait to head for this inch range. Samsung as the best qualified manufacture in this field announced publicly the launching of Galaxy Mega with 6.3 inch and 5.8 inch in the middle of April after MWC. It already had this plan earlier. At the beginning of July, other manufactures were entirely unprepared for Samsung’s accurate orientation that Galaxy Mega targeted the fighting people in the city. Every successful product which wins the market has the same point, the excellent user experience. Samsung Galaxy Mega has fully considered the user experience in appearance and functions. Large-screen and portability largely became one and that has set a new benchmark for the large-screen smartphones. Galaxy Mega paid a lot attention on the screen interface optimization, such as keyboard, button position while calling, calculator size and position, and so on. Own to these designs optimization, Galaxy Mega has the feasibility of one-hand operation. At the same time, the column view under horizontal screen mode is very practical and convenient, also helps to view information quickly. Many manufactures also launched the large-screen mobile phone within this inch range in the market, but some of them have not considered the rounded border. Too clear edges bring users discomfort while placing the mobile phone in hand or pocket. In general, Galaxy Mega launching has filled the gap in the range of 6.0 inch, also takes on the main role within the free period of Galaxy Note II and the next generation of Galaxy Note III.
