The next GEN Gone are the days when there used to power cuts and darkness prevailed, looming darkly over the productions putting an end to their work for the day, and until this power was restored, work could not move on and the industrialists were left to face the hardships and meet the deadlines; but all this has been accelerated to a full stop, for with the invention of generators in UAE, these are now problems of the past, and the dealings can look forward to a brighter and more powerful future that lies in the hands of these generators. There have been numerous newspaper articles in the nation’s leading dailies about generators in UAE, like this one where it describe how the Electricity and Water Authority of the nation is studying the possibility of providing residential as well as commercial complexes with power generators to be used in cases of power failure, where the Authority has already conducted a survey throughout the emirate to check the validity and safety measures of its power generators as part of its plan to boost safety at its facilities all over the emirate, in order to establish a purpose to deploy power generators. In yet another article in the leading newspapers that talks about generators in UAE, The Roads and Transport Authority is cooling the metro stations in operation on Red Line using mobile generators that have been rented from private productions and with the completion of the Red Line months away, the RTA is facing a grueling task as the direct cooling system for the metro stations is not yet ready for use and therefore these diesel fired mobile generators are being used to cool the stations on the red line temporarily until the system is back on its own to be deployed. Over the recent past, newspapers have been filled with power crisis issues and how power cut off takes a long time to return, and since this is a commonly prevailing problem, several buildings in the suburbs have taken to installing generators in UAE to make up for the painfully long delays in getting the regular power supplies. The report further said how newly constructed buildings have been facing the problem of not being able to let tenants move in, for power supply has not yet been restored, and therefore in the prospect of having to wait two or three more years for power supply, the owners have decided to buy three generators costing Dh 1.5 million, which will help put the buildings back into the competition and would hopefully let the tenants move into the premises of the building in the near future with the growing aid of these generators in UAE.
