Cervical spine protection can be achieved with the help of rigid neck collars, head strapping’s, and supportive sand bags. Other than airway and cervical spine control resuscitation also helps in breathing, if there is no spontaneous breathing by the victim. Though this assisted breathing is only possible once the airway patency is confirmed, else it becomes life taking as well. Ambu Bagging, mouth to mouth breathing, and mechanical ventilation are done as per the requirement. The next step is to check the circulation of the injured person. In this step normally the radial pulse is palpated, along with blood pressure measurement. After doing all these medications are also required. But medication should always be given by the supervision of a trained person only.
