The entire Ping G25 lineup is simplified with less lines and color schemes. Upon inspection, the simple appearance of the Ping G25 driver attractive. I tested the Ping G25 9.5 degree driver with a stiff TFC 189D shaft. The TFC 189D is the stock shaft that weighs 58 grams with 4.8 degrees of torque engineered to produce a mid ball flight. The more flexible shafts available produce higher ball flight while stiffer versions of the TFC 189D create a lower ball flight. The TFC 189D is available in five options ranging from soft regular to tour x-stiff. The Ping G25 driver is an oversize 460 cc club head with a triangular shape. The G25 is Ping’s first product in the adjustable head category and allows you to add or subtract one half degree of loft to optimize launch conditions for maximum distance. While other clubs have several adjustable features, the G25 keeps it simple. In addition, the G25 creates the smoothest shaft sleeve making any alterations extremely easy. The face on the G25 is even larger than that on the Ping G20 driver for sale that preceded it, and variable thickness across the face helps the ball jump at impact. The clubhead's thinner crown and a deeper profile allow Ping engineers to relocate the saved weight lower and farther back in the head to optimize its Center of Gravity position and enhance ball flight. Specifically, this head configuration helps produce a higher trajectory and more forgiveness on shots hit slightly off-center. The G25 driver stands out as one of the top 2 drivers tested in 2013. While I did not prefer the aesthetics of the driver at address, the club performs awesome. The G25 bombs the ball long and straight which makes the driver a top choice. The G25 delivers a high and piercing ball flight. In addition, it ranks as one of the two longest drivers. Personally, I could put this driver in my bag based on testing results. The G25 should stack up to any other driver on the market. The Ping G25 features a D3 swing weight. The club feels great and the ball jumps off the club face better than any other driver hit thus far. The driver produces a loud impact sound and feels and sounds like you crush the ball every time. In fact, the impact will make your ears ring. The ball feels solid at impact and Ping did a nice job of combining feel and performance in the cheap Ping G15 driver. The Ping G25 driver looks really cool, until I put the cheap golf clubs down at address, where the face appears open. Personally, I struggled with the address where I felt the club would produce a wild slice or snap hook. Source from: http://www.golfsetau.com/article-351-Review-of-the-Ping-G25-Driver.html
