Staff selection commission department will be conducting a limited departmental competitive examination scheduled on 30 November 2013. This examination will be held all over Delhi, Allahabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Raipur. There are various posts that are available in this department and recruitment will be done on a large basis. The more there will be selection, India’s result will increase. This examination is conducted to select the most eligible candidates. Every SSC recruitment examination consists of four sections namely general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning ability and English proficiency. It is mandatory for every candidate appearing for this examination to clear all the four sections individually. The commission also conducts examination for metric level stenographer grade c, stenographer grade D, and lower division clerks. Even direct interviews are conducted for some posts of section officers. And this interview is done after inviting applicants with the help of advertisement from several newspapers. Adding on, there is certain eligibility criterion for these particular examinations. It is extremely important for all the aspirants appearing for this examination to be 10+2, as this is the minimum required qualification. The minimum age limit should be 18 years while the maximum can be up to 27 years. For widows/divorced/ women or judicially separated and who are not remarried the age limit is up to thirty five years for unreserved/general candidates; 38 years for OBC candidates and 40 years for SC/ST. Though there is more to the eligibility criteria, but what is indispensable has been mentioned above. Also the procedure of applying to SSC recruitment is either through online or offline. The fee of the form is not much, just 100 Rs for unreserved, general or OBC category whereas SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. While applying for the examination online, are required to deposit the prescribed amount through state bank of India’s net banking procedure.
