Seating systems are not purchased at the local furniture shop in your town. When you need seating systems you are going to be shopping at specialty furniture creators that manufacture items that many people can use repeatedly. You are not shopping for a chair for your den, but for hundreds of chairs for what will be a theater and a jungle gym. Seating systems will receive a large amount of abuse from the different people who use them. There will be adults that feel the need to place their feet on the backs of the chairs in front of them. The backs of the seats are not designed to withstand the pressure of the weight being applied on the back in this manner. Children run along the seats of the chairs. They climb on the backs of the seats. They spill soda and all other forms of food and drink on the seat covers. They have bathroom accidents on the cushions of the chairs and they fall and often injure themselves while performing these antics. When a child falls the mother will not blame the activity the child was engaged in for the fall; she will blame the management of the establishment for allowing her child to fall. She will name the seating systems that are in the building as being parts of the reason why her child fell. In order to be prepared for these things you have to shop at manufacturers that have a history of building safe and secure auditorium seats. You want to know how many injuries have been reported as being caused by the seats you are purchasing. Check out the materials that the seats come in. You want to ask what types of stains the material will resist and how hard it will be to clean the material if someone does spill something on the fabric. Ask to see spot cleaning tests so you can see how difficult the cleaning really is. Remember that fresh stains are easier to remove and there is very little chance that you are ever going to get to a stain while it is fresh and easy to remove. Check the frames and the materials the frames are built of. The stronger the material that creates the frame the more weight and punishment the seats will be able to withstand. You want frames that bolt together and bolt to the floor of the structure. Frames that bolt to the floor provide the ability for you to have more seats in one area and they allow the seats to be stronger and less likely to turn over. Items bolted to the floor will likely be called row seating when you are shopping. Sit in the chairs and see how comfortable they are to sit in. You also want to shift your weight and make certain you do not bump into the person beside you every time you shift your weight. The weight the chair will support is very important. Get at least two seats that will hold more than three hundred pounds. Seating systems are built in different designs. Commercial seating systems cannot be purchased at local furniture stores.
