Our atmosphere is made up of layers of gases, which surround the earth. The lowest layer is the one which is important and contains the air essential for maintaining life on earth. Tobacco smoke emits nitrogen dioxide and other organic compound which is bad for people already suffering from asthma. It is essential that people are aware and understand the importance of clean breathing air and take steps to reduce it. But, if you are already suffering from heart and lungs problem then it becomes much important that you avoid exposure to pollution. When you are at home you can take certain steps to avoid air pollution. For example you can ask family members not to smoke in the house.
