How can you overcome the problem of exercising, but not losing weight? Once you discover what you could do differently, give it a good try before you move on to something else. You know how it is when are interrupted in the middle of a project, just when you were really focused and close to finishing? This situation is such a pain. It’s just as exasperating as exercising to fit and shed a few pounds and nothing happens. The scale seems to stare back at you without caring. It is so disheartening to do what you know is right and keep trying, but not seeing results. Finding out what might be a stumbling block for you can be very encouraging. Because once you know what the blockages are, you can clear them out and start seeing the results you desire. This is important to understand, because you may find other stumbling blocks down the road. So when you do, remember that you need to find a solution and keep moving forward. Once I figured out what my stumbling blocks were, I was able to gain control and accomplish my weight loss goals. Exercising and not losing weight is a hard pill to swallow. I used to depend on it to keep in shape. But, then I was injured and exercise was out of the question. I focused on eating right and ended up losing more than my original goal. Exercising Not Losing Weight Starts Here Change it up. When your body get’s used to doing the same thing, it doesn’t need to work as hard to burn calories. Try something different for your workout. This will help your body and muscles to move in different ways and be more effective in burning calories. Drink a ton. Okay, don’t drink a ton, but drinking a gallon would be good. It’s important to drink water especially if you are exercising everyday. Water will help to keep you satisfied and aid your metabolism. Pay attention to food. Think about what you put on your plate. Make sure half of it is fruit and veggies, a quarter of it is carbs, and the other quarter is lean proteins. Is it enough? Are you working out at least 5 days a week for 60 to 90 minutes? If so, are you sweating the whole time and getting your heart rate up? If you are doing less than this, then you are exercising to maintain. You need to do more to lose weight.
