The good thing about learning how to start losing weight is that you can be ahead of the game with planning. It’s best to have a plan in place before jumping in. Do you know that feeling when you are on vacation and you’re not sure what to do first? If they day doesn’t go too well, sometimes you look back and think, we should’ve done this first and then that. It’s unpleasant to realize things could have worked out better if you had planned sooner. I finally found a great system that started with a plan. Once I put all of the elements together, I was able to clearly follow them and not only succeed, but lose more than I originally was hoping for. How To Start Losing Weight Define. Clearly define your goals. Write up your goals and be specific and positive in your language. Attach a deadline to your goals. Menu. For everyday of the week, write down and post what you are going to eat for each meal and snack. Do this a week in advance. This will give you time to shop for the food you need. Routine. Set up a morning and evening routine. Be sure to include a work out time in the morning at the same time everyday. Choose relaxing activities to help your body wind down at night to get a good night’s sleep. Cut. For the first 2 weeks of your weight loss plan, cut out carbohydrates and sugar. Fruit is okay to eat. This will help your body get a jumpstart. Hydrate. Drink water like you are going out into the desert. Staying hydrated helps your body to curb cravings, have energy, and flatten fat cells. The path to successful weight loss, starts with a great plan and direction.
