Chicago, Illinois - Crown Kandy Publishing, an independent publishing group from Chicago, hosted their very first Adult Coloring Night at Dao Sushi Bar, in Oak Brook, Illinois last Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 7p-10p. Coloring for adults is a huge thing right now. Adults all over the world are partaking in the calming activity to relieve stress, wind down, and relax. With a nice coloring book, some coloring tools, and some wine, relief is easily accomplished. The event was promoted heavily via social media, which quickly went viral. Serious adult coloring book fanatics and people who had never heard of adult coloring showed up ready to color. Couples, singles, and people from all walks of life enjoyed the moment. “It’s a movement, that is bigger than us.” exclaimed the Crown Kandy Publishing team members. Men were coloring cars, couples were coloring together, and people who didn’t know each other got together and exchanged artistic ideas amongst one another. Crown Kandy Publishing provided everything you needed to make the night exciting. With coloring pages that covered a wide variety of themes, crayons, coloring pencils, and markers available there was so much to choose from. Wine was served and the ambiance made for a very peaceful, and nice environment. With more than 50 people attending the free event, the demand for more had grown. Crown Kandy Publishing has vowed to host their coloring parties every Thursday night, from 7p-10p, at Dao Sushi, 17W512 22nd Street, Oak brook Terrace, Illinois. “What we thought would be a challenge turned out to be a winner, in our eyes. The place was packed. People were happy and enjoying the moment with us.
