If you are in search of a putting stroke, I would suggest that you obtain a copy of this book. This book describes the methods of the game's greatest putters. I found my putting stroke by reading it and you might too. The putting stroke that suited me best was a combination of Bobby Jones and Paul Runyan techniques. This book covers the techniques of: Billy Casper, Deane Beman, Jack Nicklaus, Bob Charles, Cary Middlecoff, George Archer, Arnold Palmer, Julius Boros, Horton Smith, Bobby Locke, Paul Runyan, George Low, Bobby Jones, Dave Stockton, Bruce Crampton, Bob Rosburg, Gary Player and Jerry Barber. Missing from the book and I would suggest you learn about are Ben Crenshaw and Loren Roberts. Loren Roberts is probably the best roller of the ball alive today. I believe he is currently playing the seniors tour. If you do an internet search for either of these players, you will come across an article or video explaining their technique. I suggest that you learn about as many putting techniques as possible because you really can't tell in advance what method will work best for you. By studying the techniques of the former greats, you might just find your technique.
